304 vs. 316: Which is Best?

Both 304 and 316 are comparable in characteristics, appearance, and basic chemical makeup. The addition of Molybdenum in 316 significantly increases its corrosion resistance properties making 316 slightly more expensive, but sometimes the better choice.
